Fall Cravings

Hello everyone! I've been anxiously waiting for the weather to get colder so I can start wearing my fall clothing again! I love the fall season and the fashion that goes along with it! I've pulled together several items that I think would be a great addition to anyones wardrobe this upcoming season!

I've separated them into three categories

Work: A perfectly clean and crisp white blazer. A blazer is a great staple and white is a great way to brighten up a cloudy fall day. A trend that we're probably going to be seeing a lot are the maroon/burgundy colored skinny jeans! Skinny jeans have stolen our hearts this summer with neon/brights but for the fall a more subdued look would be more appropriate.

School: Fall semester is a time for new beginnings! Especially if you're a student! So having the perfect sweater and cardigan combo will probably be a life saver for those long nights of studying. It's comfy and chic and will keep you warm during the brisk autumn days.

Play: With holidays approaching this season, what better way to dress it up then to wear sequin! This gold sequin collared blouse is both feminine and chic! Pair it with a skirt that has a lovely flared silhouette and you're ready for the night out!

I SHAPE ME.

Hi loves! I came across this post from the Insanity Facebook page and thought it was really inspiring! I was able to complete a month and a half of the Insanity program and witnessed some changes! I felt better about myself, healthier and my overall outlook on life was just more positive. I do have to admit, finding the motivation to take on such a program is difficult but it is possible! 

(I'm going to be starting it again! Let me know if you are too!)

I think this message can be applied to anything that we're doing in life so I hope you all will "seize every opportunity" that you have and take control to shape yourself into whatever you want to be =)

My Go -To Fall Outfit

Don't you hate when you have no idea what to wear even though your closet might be full of goodies!? I have this dilemma all the time. I was sorting through my closet to create a few go-to outfits that I know will save the day. Nevertheless I came up with my first Fall Inspired Outfit!

A classic black fitted blazer is a must have in anyone's closet. It can be dressed up or down so easily! It is the ultimate cake topper to any outfit in my opinion =)

Next, we have the classic striped boatneck tee. The nautical theme of stripes continues into the fall season by transitioning into fall appropriate colors.  This shirt is amazingly comfortable (bonus points!) and the clean lines really help dress up what is usually known as a "casual tee". 

As for the bottoms, you can't go wrong with a good pair of dark denim jeans! They simply go with everything! Which makes putting an outfit together much easier in the morning.

If I haven't told you all yet... I am a total sucker for flats! They are so comfortable to walk in and reliable as well for those long days at work and school. 

To finish off this look! I paired it with simple stud earrings, a classic watch for the ever so simple chic look and the wonderful Rebecca Minkoff Classic MAC Handbag.

Get Ready with me! Back to School Edition!

To kick off the new Fall Semester I thought I would start my Blog! [yay!] This is super exciting since I've been wanting to create this for quite some time. A new semester at school is like New Years Eve. A time where you can make resolutions to hopefully stick by and accomplish. And this year I would like to do well in school, discover what I really want in life and just go for it... and of course keep up with this Blog and my Youtube Channel! ♥
